This property should be in that book, "1000 Places to See Before You Die"! It is absolutely magical. A community of individual lodges tucked into the hillsides and groves of trees providing a level of serenity as dense as the surrounding redwood forests!
Calistoga Ranch scores the highest of high with regard to the level of guest amenity. Some of the small reasons I love Calistoga Ranch; I am a tea drinker and I'm always glad to see a coffee machine in the room that I can run water through for my tea, although it always tastes a smidge like coffee. Calistoga Ranch provides a coffee maker AND a dedicated electric tea pot for tea!! (They had me at teapot!) Everything in the wet bar is complimentary, as is the wi-fi internet and morning paper of your choice. The bath products are full sized, not sample sized and divine and anyplace that gives me a private hot tub, deck, and outdoor fireplace scores BIG with me!! I sat in the hot tub last night under a blanket of stars watching the outdoor fireplace. . . this is as good as it gets!! Come here and the only complaint you'll be able to come up with is that your stay was too short!

The Calistoga Ranch offers a model of perfection in their pet program. When we walked into reception, they knew Beaus name an had a biscuit waiting. Upon arrival at our lodge Beau was greeted by a great pet bed, two stainless steel bowls for food and water, a treat, bottled water, and clean up baggies. In addition, at the reception desk they provided us with two newsletters; one for dogs called "Happy Tails". This wonderful two-sided flyer provides you with a pet room service menu (entries priced at $8 and $13), guidelines for pet behavior on the property, pet-related items you can expect from the resort, pet-friendly wineries, restaurants, and hiking and walking trails in Napa Valley. The smartest thing on their pet menu...organic pet kibble (sometimes a steady diet of pet room service can be too rich, so it's wonderful to have the option of dry kibble for alternating meals).Guest Amenities
