This wonderful pet boutique or "pawtique" as their business card says, is located in Boston's hip South End. The South End is a little bit out of the tourist loop, but worth the ten minute walk from the Boston Common because the area has several pet-centric places worth visiting. First on that list is Espesso! Beau and I paid a visit to Espesso and met the owner, Jose, who could not be nicer! Immeidiately, Jose asked if Beau could have a treat and gave us a beautiful little pouch filled with biscuits! His shop offers an uncluttered, chic presentation of high-end acessories, leashes, dog beds, spa products, and pet toys. You'll be happy you put in the effort to find Espesso because diagonally across the street is the dog park (which Beau also loved!). Getting there: From Commonwealth Avenue turn onto Clarendon Street (head away from the Charles River). Continue to Tremont Street. Take a quick right and an immediate left off Tremont St. onto Waltham. Follow Waltham and enjoy the lovely brownstones until you reach Washington, go left on Washington and Espesso is across the street on your right. You will pass the dog park on your left.
