A very clean, gravel/sand, fenced-in dog run...one of the only ones I could find. Although, Philadelphia is very pet-friendly with regard to its public parks; dogs are allowed on the grass and in the parks as long as you clean up after your pet, (and you'd better...there are signs everywhere that notify dog owners of $300 fine if you are caught not scoopin'). From the Rittenhouse Square area it is a pleasant walk down Spruce Street through a neighborhood of lovely little brownstone and brick town homes.
